Abstract :
Syncope is a state of loss of consciousness and body strength of an individual that occurs suddenly, and is accompanied by the recovery of the individual's condition. School teachers are the first aid providers who are quick and appropriate to students who experience syncope to prevent the victim's condition from getting worse. The purpose of the study was to determine the level of knowledge and attitudes of teachers in handling. This type of research uses descriptive with a cross sectional approach. Sampling using the Total Sampling technique with 34 respondents. Collecting data using a questionnaire sheet. The most knowledge is good with 21 respondents (61.8%) and 13 respondents (38.2%) lacking knowledge. The attitude of the most 24 respondents (70.6%) with a bad attitude and 10 respondents (29.4%) with a good attitude. In conclusion, knowledge must be directly proportional to the attitude of skills so that if a syncope event occurs it can be handled quickly and precisely.
