Abstract :
Disaster triage is the process of sorting victims based on their severity in a disaster. The skill of the helper in carrying out triage is influenced by knowledge and attitudes. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between knowledge and the attitudes of basarnas gorontalo members about disaster emergency response triage. This type of research is a quantitative method of correlation with a cross sectional approach. This sampling technique is an accidentalsampling technique with a total sample of 38 respondents working in basarnas gorontalo. From the results of the study, it was obtained that respondents who had good knowledge about triage were 63.2% and respondents who had good attitudes were 63.2%, based on the results of data analysis using the Chi-Square test between the relationship of knowledge and the attitudes of basarnas gorontalo members about disaster emergency response triage with a p value of 0.000 (p<0.05). Which means that there is a relationship between knowledge and the attitudes of basarnas gorontalo members about the triage of disaster emergency response. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the majority of basarnas Gorontalo members have good knowledge with a good attitude.
