Abstract :
Poisoning is a very dangerous emergency situation and can cause damage to cells and some body functions and even result in death due to the entry of toxic materials in the form of substances or food containing bacteria and food spoilage. Poisoning can occur due to various causes which is contain hazardous materials and can potentially become toxic. This research to analyze the extent of public knowledge about handling poisoning in Tayadun Village, Buol regency. This research method is carried out with a quantitative approach with analytic descriptive design. Population sample are 88 respondents were taken by total sampling technique. Data collection through 2 stages, namely the preparation stage and the implementation stage. From the results research can be seen that people who answered the questionnaire with correct the highest as many as 85 respondents (96.6%). The research results show Community knowledge in Tayadun Village, Buol Regency, is classified as deep good category (81.8%). From the perspective of researchers, the community has experience in taking the first action in dealing with poisoning, thus in the future it can minimize the number poisoning incident in Tayadun Village, Buol regency.
