Abstract :
Pulmonary TB is still a health problem in Indonesia, one of the causes of the spread of pulmonary TB is overcrowding. The impact of residential density causes the transfer of infectious diseases through the air to be easier and faster. This study aims to analyze the relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of pulmonary tuberculosis. The research method uses a type of quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used a total sampling technique with a total of 37 respondents. The results showed that 18 respondents with pulmonary TB incidents with occupancy density met the requirements while 19 respondents with pulmonary TB incidents with occupancy densities did not meet the requirements. The statistical test results obtained the value of Fisher's Exact Test p = 0.020 with ? ? 0.05. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between occupancy density and the incidence of pulmonary TB in Anggrek District, North Gorontalo Regency.
