Abstract :
Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) or Dengue Haemorhagic Fever (DHF) commonly called Dengue Haemorrahagic Fever (DHF) is a viral disease transmitted by Aedes Aegypti and Aedes Albopictus mosquitoes, with the aim of analyzing to find out whether there is a relationship between knowledge and community behavior with disease prevention. DHF in Bubalango Village, North Gorontalo Regency. This research is a type of quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. The results of the statistical test on the relationship between knowledge and prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever obtained a Pearson Chi-Square p = 0.023 with ? ? 0.05. This means that the level of knowledge possessed by the respondent will relate to the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever. The higher the level of knowledge of the respondents, the better the prevention of dengue hemorrhagic fever. and the results of statistical tests on the relationship between behavior and prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever get a Continuity Correction value p = 0.005 with ? ? 0.05. This means that people's attitudes support the control of dengue hemorrhagic fever. So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between knowledge and behavior with the prevention of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in Bubalango Village, North Gorontalo Regency.
