Abstract :
The purpose of this research was to find out whether there is a relationship between parental tutoring and student achievement at SDN 2 Tomilito, North Gorontalo district, in the high class. This research uses a quantitative method with a correlation research type. The sampling technique used was proportionate stratified random sampling with a total sample of 48 students consisting of grades IV, V and VI. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. Based on the results of the analysis and hypothesis testing, it was found that the X variable (Parent Tutoring) was related to the Y variable (Student Learning Achievement) of 49.10%. With the research results obtained, it can be concluded that there is a fairly strong relationship between Parent Tutoring and Student Learning Achievement. Recommended for teachers and parents, providing study guidance to students is a shared responsibility. If teachers and parents can guide or direct students to use technology properly, it will have a positive impact on student achievement.
