Abstract :
Patient safety incidents continue to increase every year, unwanted accidents (KTD) increase every year, this can be influenced by various factors, namely nurse education, workload and work environment. The purpose of the study was to determine the factors that influence the application of occupational safety and health in preventing unwanted accidents (KTD) at Dr.M.M.Dunda Limboto Hospital. Quantitative research design with a cross sectional approach. The population of this study was nurses in the Surgery and Internal room of Dr.M.M.Dunda Limboto Hospital as many as 42 people. The sample totaled 42 people with total sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire. Statistical test using chisquare test. The results obtained were the influence of educational factors (p-value 0.019), workload (pvalue 0.016) and work environment (p-value 0.003) with occupational safety and health in preventing unwanted accidents at Dr.M.M.Dunda Limboto Hospital. It is hoped that education, workload and work environment can influence the application of occupational safety and health in preventing unwanted accidents
