Abstract :
Transportation is the only access to Pinogu district which has the characteristics of an isolated area. The only mode of transportation currently to this region is to use two-wheeled motorized vehicles or known as motorcycle taxis. This study aims to find out how the role of transportation for the income of the people of Pinogu, Bone Bolango Regency. This study uses a qualitative approach using interview instruments to various randomly selected information. The results showed that the only land transportation (ojek) to Pinogu District has a strategic role in supporting the distribution of basic necessities of the community because it is a means of transportation that can encourage the movement of goods and people from and to Pinogu. Especially in the distribution of basic necessities of the Pinogu community.
