Abstract :
Patient safety is a condition unscathed that should not occur. The study aims to determine the relationship between nurse characteristics and patient safety implementation based on a literature study. The method used a literature study derived from the electronic database Pubmed, Proquest, and Google Scholar with a crosssectional research design based on journal publications from 2015 to 2020, full text, and open access. The results showed that from 5 kinds of literature there was a relationship between nurse?s age, education, and experience or length of work with the application of patient safety. The older the nurse gets, the more experience the nurse gets, this experience will then increase the nurse?s knowledge and form a positive mindset and action, people who have higher education will have higher knowledge as well
