Abstract :
Currently, gender equality or sex is being intensively carried out by the government where women have the same opportunities as men in education, of course this equality is different from the old days where only men were allowed to have education, this equality creates a difference in student involvement on learning. The research objective was to determine the differences in student involvement in learning in terms of gender. The research design uses a quantitative approach with analysis of the Independent Sample Test. Total population of 57 students with sampling using total sampling so that all populations become samples. The results showed that on average there were 26 female students who had high involvement and 19 male students. The results of the Independent Sample Test analysis showed that the sig value for male students was 0.044 and the sig value for female students was 0.047 or p<0. ,05. While the mean value shows the difference in involvement between male and female students of 0.22.
