Abstract :
Gorontalo is one of the provinces in Indonesia that should be introduced both the domestic tourists and the wealth owney by Gorontalo, namely Embung Dumati, located in Dumati Village, Telaga Biru District Regency. Embung Dumati tourism managers have tried to carry out a development strategy by adding various facilities in Embung Dumati. However, over time this suboptimal development has made the tourist attractions of Embung Dumati more open to visitors. This research aimed to discover the development of the tourist attraction of Embung Dumati in Gorontalo Regency. The method used a SWOT analysis technique. Bassed on the results of research in general, the development of the tourist attraction of Embung Dumati in its management is still not good, and there is still a lack of infrastructure, thus it can be determined that the tourist attraction of Embung Dumati is in quadrant III, namely the W-O strategy a strategy that minimizes weaknesses and takes advantage of exiting opportunities.
