Outpatient Patients at Puskesmas Batua, July-September 2023
(Supervised by Nurlina and Andi Hasrawati)
Prescription screening is an essential step in pharmaceutical
services to ensure that patients receive optimal treatment. This study aims
to assess the administrative, pharmaceutical, and clinical completeness of
antihypertensive drug prescriptions at Puskesmas Batua from July to
September 2023. This study is a non-experimental descriptive study with
retrospective data collection. The sample in this study was obtained from
99 prescriptions. The results showed that the administrative completeness
of prescriptions includes patient name (100%), patient age (98%), patient
gender (0%), patient weight (0%), patient height (0%), doctor's name (86%),
doctor's signature (100%), prescription date (100%), room/unit (95%). The
highest pharmaceutical completeness is in dosage, number of drugs, and
rules of use (100%), followed by method of use (0%). The clinical aspects
include the appropriateness of the correct dosage (99%), excessive dosage
(0%), and insufficient dosage (1%). Thus, it can be concluded that
prescriptions at Puskesmas Batua do not fully meet the prescription criteria
based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 74 of 2016 concerning
