Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine whether the personality type and work
stress affect the performance of employees at PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Palopo
City. The sample in this study were 100 employees. The approach used is a
quantitative approach. The method of analysis in this research is multiple linear
regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that there is a positive and
significant influence between personality types on employee performance. Then
the work stress variable has a positive influence on employee performance,
especially employees of PT. PLN (Persero) ULP Palopo City. Stress must be
managed properly in order to help improve performance. If stress exceeds the
limit, stress will actually worsen performance.
