Abstract :
This study aims to examine the effect of non performing loans and operating costs on operating income on the profitability of state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018. BNI, Bank Mandiri, Bank BTN) 2014-2018. The data analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that the influence of the Non Performing Loans (NPL) variable on profitability in state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014-2018 has a significant negative effect on the effect of the variable operating costs on operating income (BOPO) on profitability in listed BUMN banking companies. In the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014 - 2018 there is a significant negative effect of the significant effect of Non Performing Loans (NPL) and operating costs on operating income (BOPO) on profitability simultaneously in state-owned banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange 2014-2018.
