Abstract :
During the internship in Foreign Affairs at the Bureau of Public Relations, Protocol, and International Relations at East Java Government, the writer had a useful worked experience. First is being familiar with errors of incoming correspondence. Despite the analysis of the errors that usually happened in correspondence, understanding it could make the writer know how to solve and avoid it in the future. By comprehending the error in writing English correspondence that happened in a real workplace, the writer learned that in formal correspondence both parties could conduct the collaboration with considering what both parties needed during cooperation. Sometimes there were errors found during the correspondence process, being the international staff forced them to immediately understand and follow the head or sub-head division instruction.
