Abstract :
This study aims to determine the presence of changes in the arrangement of nucleotide bases found in the FSHR promoter gene sequence in silent heat cases in the field, to determine the difference between the FSHR promoter gene sequence which contained genetic variations in the silent-heat group and the gene sequence in the normal group, and to determine the effect of the presence of genetic variations in the promoter gene FSHR on cases of silent heat reproductive disorders in Friesian-Holstein cows. 10 samples of FH cows blood (5 SH, 5 Normal), DNA was extracted, then amplified. The amplification results were then examined by PCRRFLP, and followed by DNA sequencing. The results: there is a polymorphism in the form of single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) in the SH group in the field, there is a difference between the FSHR promoter gene sequence that contains polymorphism in the SH group and the gene sequence in the normal group and there is no effect of polymorphism in the FSHR promoter gene on silent cases. heat in FH cows.
