Abstract :
COVID-19 is an emerging infectious disease that was announced as a global pandemic. It caused by a virus called SARS-CoV-2. The elevated of NLR can occur due to increased neutrophil production accompanied by lymphocyte apoptosis as an inflammatory response from the immune system. This study aims to determine the description of NLR in COVID-19 positive patients based on age and sex at RSUD Gambiran Kota Kediri on July-December 2020. The method used in this research was descriptive observasion using secondary data as the research material. 40 data were taken randomly to be analyzed and then presented as a table and diagram. The results showed that high NLR values (≥3.13) occurred in the majority of patients (62.5%), male patients had the highest frequency distribution of high NLR values (32.5%). High NLR values are found in the 51-60 year age group (27.5%).
