Abstract :
Natural disaster, non-natural disaster and social disasters can occur suddenly or slowly and cause a lot of loss of life and material, the losses are caused by the low ability of the community to face disaster risks, so that mitigation efforts become a priority in implementing disaster management. Law Number 24 of 2007 concerning Disaster Management and Government Regulations Number 21 and 23 of 2008 concerning the Participation of International Institutions and Foreign Non-Governmental Organizations in Disaster Management firmly provide opportunities for all parties including international institutions and foreign non-governmental organizations to play an active role in it. An earthquake rocked Turkey, centered at a depth of 24.1 kilometers from the earth's surface. The location of the earthquake occurred in Nurdagi, Gaziantep Province, Türkiye. Precisely located at a location 23 kilometers east of Nurdagi. The aim of this research is to determine the form of Indonesian participation in earthquake disaster management efforts in Türkiye. The research method used is a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach. Indonesia's National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) and Turkey's Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management AFAD (Afet ve Acil Durum Yönetimi Ba?kanl???) have collaborated in the field of disaster management. Both are institutions responsible for responding to and managing emergency situations resulting from natural disasters or other emergencies in their respective countries. The form of participation was sending INASAR to areas affected by the earthquake in Turkey, establishing an Emergency Medical Team (EMT) field hospital, and in 8 days the INASAR team succeeded in evacuating 15 victims, 2 of whom were Indonesian citizens (WNI). This collaboration is expected to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of disaster management, strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and Turkey, develop compatible systems and procedures, improve communication and coordination.
