Abstract :
This study examines the implementation of Madrasah Diniyah education in shaping the
character of students at Mojotrisno State Primary School, Mojoagung District,
Jombang. The focus of this research is to understand how the application of the
Madrasah Diniyah educational program can influence and shape students' character, as
well as the supporting and inhibiting factors in this process.
The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques
through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that the
implementation of Madrasah Diniyah education at Mojotrisno State Primary School is
carried out through various strategies such as direct teaching, the use of educational
media, and supporting extracurricular activities. This program has proven effective in
shaping students' character, especially in aspects of honesty, responsibility, discipline,
and religious obedience.
Supporting factors in this implementation include support from the school, parents, and
a conducive community environment. Meanwhile, some obstacles encountered include
time constraints, limited facilities and infrastructure, and the varying abilities of
students to absorb the lessons.
This study concludes that Madrasah Diniyah education plays a significant role in
shaping students' character at Mojotrisno State Primary School and recommends
further development in the aspects of teaching methods and supporting facilities to
enhance the program's effectiveness.
