Abstract :
This research aims to determine the Religious Character Formation Strategy, to
analyze the implementation of the Religious Character Formation Strategy, to
identify supporting and inhibiting factors for the Religious Character Formation
Strategy at Darul 'Ulum Agung Middle School, Malang. This research approach is
qualitative, with descriptive analysis methods. The data sources used are primary
data and secondary data, taken at Darul 'Ulum Agung Malang Middle School. The
results of the research state that the role of teachers in providing role models is very
crucial in instilling religious character in students. Students' characters are different,
there are good behaviors and there are bad ones. The student habituation program
at school is running according to the daily program, namely: Dhuha prayer, prayer.
congregational midday prayers, infaq and supporting and inhibiting factors are
divided into two, namely, internal and external factors.
