Liquid Organic Fertilizer Concentration on the Growth and Yield of Pakcoy (Brassica
rapa L.)" Advisor I. Nanik Lutfiyah, S.Si., M.Si. Rukmi Budirahaju, S.P., M.Si.
The Pakcoy plant (Brassica rapa L.), also known as spoon cabbage, is a popular leafy vegetable
in Indonesia, used both for cooking and as a garnish. This study aimed to examine the growth
response and production of Pakcoy to the application of several liquid organic fertilizers
available in the market. The experiment was conducted using a Completely Randomized
Design (CRD), involving two types of liquid organic fertilizers (POC Ecogreen and POC Bio
Conversion) with various concentrations.
The results of the experiment showed significant interactions between the doses of POC
Ecogreen and POC Bio Conversion on various growth parameters of Pakcoy, such as the
number of leaves, leaf area, plant height, root length, and wet biomass. The combination of 100
ml/liter doses of POC Ecogreen and POC Bio Conversion produced the best growth, with the
highest wet biomass of 53.67 grams. This treatment also showed the highest values in terms of
leaf count, plant height, and leaf area.
In conclusion, the combination of POC Ecogreen and POC Bio Conversion at a dose of 100
ml/liter effectively enhances the production of Pakcoy. Further research is needed to determine
the optimal dosage between organic and inorganic fertilizers.
