Mojokerto is one of the cities in the province of East Java
which is quite densely populated and frequent problems of traffic jams. this matter
causes the low performance of a road. This research was conducted on the
Mojopahit street, Mojokerto City with the aim of calculating road capacity
and performance under existing and planned conditions. Road performance analysis
using the 2014 Indonesia Road Capacity Guidelines method.
The results of the data analysis of the Mojopahit Road Section obtained the value of Traffic Volume
Cross segment 1=619.88 cur/hour, segment 2=517.45 cur/hour, segment 3=598.27
cur/hour, segment 4=1495,13 cur/hour. While the results of the Road Performance Analysis
Mojopahit in the existing condition, the capacity value ( C ) in Segment 1 is 2667.7
cur/hour, the value of the degree of saturation is 0.23. capacity ( C ) segment 2 = 2752.9
cur/hour, degree of saturation = 0.19. Capacity ( C ) segment 3 = 2345.6 cur/hour,
degree of saturation = 0.26. And for the capacity (C) segment 4 = 1915.3 cur/hour,
degree of saturation = 0.78. For the estimation of the performance of the Mojopahit road for 5 years
In the future, the condition of segment 1 to segment 3 is still feasible, while
for segment 4 is not feasible because the degree of saturation has reached
1.04, where the value has passed the maximum limit specified
in the 2014 PKJI.
