ABSTRACTION
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between Self-Control and
Internet Addiction in Adolescents. The hypothesis proposed in this study is "There is
a Relationship between Self-Control and Internet Addiction in Adolescents". The
population in this study were all students of SMK N 1 Trowulan, Mojokerto. The
sample in this study were 40 students of class X and XI at SMKN 1 Trowulan,
Mojokerto. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The
independent variable in this study is Self-Control (X), while the dependent variable is
Internet Addiction (Y). The hypothesis is tested using the Pearson Product Moment
Correlation. p < 0.05). This means that there is a negative relationship between self?control and internet addiction in adolescents. This means that the higher the self?control, the lower the level of internet addiction in adolescents. Conversely, the lower
the self-control, the higher the level of internet addiction in adolescents. So the
hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted
