Abstract :
The Influence of Teaching Style on Students' Interest in Islamic Education Subjects at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung Jombang, Study Program of Islamic Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, Darul 'Ulum University Jombang, 2021. This study aims: to determine the effect of teaching style on student interest in learning at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung, to find out how the teaching style of Islamic religious education teachers at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung. Education is the main means in forming and creating quality human resources both through informal education at home and through formal education in schools. Without formal and informal education, it will be difficult to produce good quality human resources who can determine the future of the nation itself. Learning is a form of growth or change in a person which is expressed in new ways of behaving thanks to experience and practice. The occurrence of changes in certain situations that make learning is always a change in behavior or appearance, with a series of activities such as reading, observing, listening, imitating and so on. The teaching style of the teacher is very closely related to students' interest in learning. Teachers are the key to success in learning and the key to success for their students. Professional teachers are teachers who are able to develop students' interest in learning and are able to develop their curiosity. Thus, the challenge of a teacher is to foster student interest in learning. The research method used is descriptive quantitative research with the aim of describing the education and teaching style of a teacher that will affect the development of students' interest in learning systematically from an actual and careful fact. Sources of data in this study include primary data and secondary data, data collection includes questionnaires and documentation. The results of the data were analyzed using data analysis techniques with product moment theory (correlation test between 2 variables). The results showed as follows: There was no significant effect between the teaching styles of teachers at SDN Mancilan, with student interest in learning, student interest in learning at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung was classified as good, the teaching style of teachers at SDN Mancilan 1 Mojoagung was classified as good.
