Abstract :
Learning effectiveness is a measure that states how far the quantity and quality targets have been achieved. In education at MI Ainul Ulum 01 contains various learning activities with various methods, such as the lecture method, task method, and discussion method. So in this research, the discussion method becomes the focus of the discussion method for researchers to become the object of research. This study aims to describe the effectiveness of the discussion method on student achievement in the subject of Akidah Akhlak and determine the influencing factors. This research is qualitative in nature, taking the background of MI Ainul Ulum 01 Kerolih Mojoagung Jombang. Data was collected by means of interviews, observation, and documentation. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the presence of researchers in the field is very important. Data in the form of words were obtained from informants, while additional data were in the form of documents. Data analysis was carried out by reviewing existing data, presenting data, drawing conclusions from the final stage of data analysis. The results of this study indicate that the effectiveness of the discussion method has a positive impact on improving student learning outcomes. Evidence that this learning process is effective is obtained by conditions that show that students are interested, motivated, interested, and active during the learning process using the discussion method.
