Abstract :
Moh. Idris Marzuki, Advisors: Dr. Henny Dwijayani, SE., M.Si. Hj. Linda Ratna Sari, SE., M.Si. Moh. Idris Marzuki, Faculty of Economics, Darul Ulum University, Jombang, born in Nganjuk on August 15, 1997. The title of the research is the Effect of Financial Ratios on Stock Returns of Food and Beverage Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The purpose of this study is to determine and be able to analyze simultaneously and partially Current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity and total asset turnover on stock returns in food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. This research uses quantitative research. The object of this research is stock returns of food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020. The number of samples in this research is 11 companies using purposive sampling method. The type of data used is secondary data, data collection techniques using observation or observation and documentation techniques. While the data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis in this study using the SPSS version 25 analysis tool. The results based on multiple linear regression analysis using the F test (simultaneous) it can be concluded that the variables Current ratio, debt to equity ratio, return on assets, return on equity and total asset turnover simultaneously affect stock returns. The results of the t-test analysis (partial) can be concluded that the return on assets variable has a positive and significant effect on stock returns, while the current ratio and return on equity variables have a negative effect on stock returns and the debt to equity ratio and total asset turnover variables have no significant effect on stock returns of food and beverage sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2017-2020.
