Wahyu Utami, 2022, Perceptions of Islamic Religious Education Teachers in the Education Concept of Implementing Free Learning at SD Negeri Kayangan 2 Diwek Jombang. Thesis of the Study Program of Islamic Education, Faculty of Islamic Religion, University of Darul 'Ulum Jombang. Supervised by Advisor I Dr. H. Abdul Rouf, S, Ag., M.Ag, Advisor II Fathur Rofi'i, S.Ag., M.Pd.I The Freedom Learning Policy has been established by the Indonesian Minister of Education and Culture Nadiem Makarim since December 2019. The implementation of policies, understanding and good responses from the community, especially education actors such as teachers, students, lecturers and students can support the successful implementation of an education policy. This study aims to describe the teacher's perception of the concept of implementing freedom Learning. This type of research is qualitative descriptive with the results showing that the concept of independent learning, which can be described as follows: Freedom Learning is not only a policy that only contains the abolition of national exams and the concept of learning without being burdened by score achievements, so that students become more active and more enthusiastic. to carry out teaching and learning activities. In addition, independent learning is an educational innovation concept that gives freedom to develop the potential of teachers and students in the teaching and learning process without going through the legal signs of education in Indonesia. Freedom to Learning is considered a good policy and needs to be implemented to improve the quality of education in Indonesia, with the hope that the government can optimize the socialization, piloting and dissemination stages of the implementation of freedom Learning.
