Abstract :
The use of concrete as a construction material is increasing every year.
Means the consumption of natural coarse aggregate increases. Meanwhile, the
potential of limestone resources is quite large in Indonesia. This study is to
determine the compressive strength of limestone concrete by soaking it using diesel
fuel and pertalite, this limestone comes from the rangel of Tuban Regency, Java.
The research method used is a literature study and an experimental study with 6, 12
and 24 hours immersion variations. Where the best value from the coarse aggregate
wear test using a los ageless machine will be made as a mixture of fc '21 Mpa
concrete. With a fas value of 0.54
Based on the results of the study, the highest average compressive strength
was obtained, namely normal concrete of 20.85 MPa for 28 days of age. In
limestone coarse aggregate with 6 hours of diesel fuel curing, the average
compressive strength value is 16.61 MPa for 28 days. From the research that has
been done, it can be concluded that lime concrete with diesel fuel immersion for 6
hours has decreased compressive strength compared to normal concrete with a
compressive strength of fc' 21 MPa
