Abstract :
Concrete is formed from a mixture of fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, cement and water in a certain ratio. Especially in the district of Jombang, some areas produce sand with poor gradation, so it is necessary to do research on blending fine aggregate by trial and error. the addition of Silica Fume into the concrete mixture with a certain level of distribution of the porosity of the concrete becomes small, the density of the concrete increases and then the strength of the concrete will increase. determine the initial sett time (initial sett) and final setting time (final sett) cement. The data obtained from the results of research with the guidelines of SNI and ASTM Standards. the percentage of fine aggregate blending that enters zone 2 is 15% Brantas Sand, 70% Gudo Excavated Sand 15% Payak Quarry Sand, the results of the examination carried out showed that the initial bonding time of cement with 8% sica fume added had a maximum decrease of 25 mm, i.e. 105 minutes and the final setting time of cement with a decrease of 0 mm is 150 minutes. the addition of 8% Sika fume using fine aggregate in the jombang area can increase the compressive strength of concrete compared to normal concrete. Concrete that has the highest compressive strength occurs in concrete using fine aggregate blending with 8% Sika fume added at 28 days of age with a value of 34.09 MPa. Fine Aggregate Blending resulted in an increase in the compressive strength of each of the three Quary's compressive strength values. The value of normal concrete compressive strength using fine aggregate blending at the age of 28 days is 28.65 MPa. Keywords: Fine Aggregate Blending, Setting time, Sica Fume
