Abstract :
In companies, performance issues are the most important thing that needs
more attention. Performance depends a lot on other variables that support the
performance itself. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of work
motivation and work environment on the performance of employees of PT.
Jombang Intermedia Press (Java Pos Radar Jombang).
The data analysis method used is the validity and reliability test of the research
instrument, the classical assumption test, multiple linear regression and the F
hypothesis test (simultaneous), t test (partial), and the coefficient of determination
R2 test.
Work motivation and work environment have a significant influence on
employee performance, this can be seen from the probability F test value, namely
sig is 0.000 while the significant level previously set is 0.05, the sig value is 0.000
<0.05, so Ho is rejected. means that there is a significant influence between Work
Motivation and Employee Performance at PT. Press Intermedia (Java Pos Radar
Jombang). Then it can be seen the results of the coefficient of determination
where the value of R square in the table above is 0.557 or 55.7% of the percentage
value that affects the independent variable (Work Environment and Work
Motivation) on the dependent variable (Employee Performance).
