Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Career Selection Career selection is the determination or decision-making in matters that liked by the individual that can bring progress and confidence in himself in the form of continuing studies and the choice of work that follows the potential and skills possessed by the individual. Good interpersonal communication skills are needed to improve students? career choices. The research design used in this research is quantitative research using quantitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were all class XII students of SMA Darul 'Ulum 3 Peterongan, totaling of 57 students. The sample in this study amounted to 20 students who were taken using proporsional random sampling technique with proporsi 35%. Based on the test results of simple linear regression analysis between interpersonal communication variables and career selection variables, the significance value (Sig,) is 0.000 <0.05, so they can be conclude that Ha is accepted, which means "There is a significant positive effect between interpersonal communication on the selection student careers at Darul 'Ulum 3 Peterongan High School". The influence of interpersonal communication on students' career choices is 53.0%, while other variables influence 47% of students' career choices.
