Abstract :
Optimization of the auto temperature control system on the thermal oil heater system
using Ants Colony Optimization as a PID Controller tunning. Making a simulink tuning model
for the PID temperature controller thermal oil heater based on Ants Colony Optimization in the
2013a Matlab program. Thermal oil heater simulation using Ants Colony Optimization as a
PID Controller tunning is the best result among other design methods.
Response to PID-ACO with Kp = 2.153, Ki = 1.466, Kd = 0.149, got overshot = 0.004,
undershot = 0, at setting time 5.505 seconds. It is found that the PID-ACO controller is the best
method with the smallest overshot at 0.004, the smallest undershot at 0 and the fastest setting
time at 5.505 seconds.
