Abstract :
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between self-control and narcissistic behavior on social media in female students. This study uses quantitative methods, sampling with simple random sampling technique. The subjects of this study were students who participated in an extra-campus organization, namely the Women's PMII Corps (KOPRI) at Darul 'Ulum Jombang University, totaling 58 people aged 18-21 years. The research instrument used in this study is the self-control scale and the naaristic behavior scale. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a relationship between self-control and narcissistic behavior. The method used for data analysis is Spearman's rho correlation. The results of the analysis showed a correlation coefficient of rxy = -0.349 with p = 0.007 (p < 0.05). The hypothesis in this study is accepted with a significant negative relationship between self-control and narcissistic behavior. Keywords: Self Control, Narcissistic Behavior
