Abstract :
Floods that occurred in Jombang Regency, caused inundation at several points. This happened because one of the Afours in Jombang Regency, namely Afour Gabus, located in Ploso District, Jombang Regency, was no longer able to work properly to accommodate flood discharges. There are several causes of flooding and one of them is sediment. Steps that can be taken to overcome sediment deposits are by means of Channel Normalization Planning. One of the plans that can be taken is by dredging sediments. From the studies and calculations that have been carried out, the solution to this problem is the need for channel normalization to cope with flooding in the area. The results obtained are as follows: Existing debit (Qex) = 5,260m3/s Planned discharge (Qrenc) = 7,935 m3/s. Avour Gabus Sediment Volume is = 7,247.88 m³, and the Budget Plan (RAB) to normalize Avour Gabus is = 1,796,800,000.00.- Keywords: Normalization, river, flood control.
