Abstract :
Control in the project is the most important function in the implementation of a construction project. Control as a tool to help control the project, assist the implementation and completion of a construction project. In terms of the cost of implementing a project can experience advantages or disadvantages. The purpose of this study was to determine how the application of Variance Analysis in estimating the cost and time of project execution, whether the project implementation was in accordance with the planned time and cost. The method used in a control is the method of analysis of variance. Control aims to be able to find out how much the total cost of planning (standard) and total cost of implementation (actual). By calculating the comparison between standard costs and actual costs, it will be able to see what variants there are positive variances or negative variances. The results of the calculation and discussion, it is found that the level of efficiency from the amount of the budget in the rabbi of service providers is Rp. 370,548,000 to Rp. 361,547,000 in the calculation of the analysis of variance. The difference in the efficiency level of the two rab calculations is Rp. 9,000,000. And the calculation results obtained will then be applied to the variance reporting table and the "S" graph, so that it can be obtained how much of the most dominant variance occurs during the working day
