Abstract :
Motivation to learning is encouraging learning process, direction, and
persistence of behavior. Where an individual who is motivated individuals who
are full of energy, focus, and last a long time. If the motivation to learn are on the
individual, then the individual can satisfy the quality of learning outcomes are
achieved, however, if the motivation to learn is not found in the individual, then
the individual can not satisfy the quality of learning outcomes are achieved.
This study aimed to test the effectiveness of counseling behavior for MA
students motivation to learn, this study used pretest and posttest one group design,
data analysis used to test the hypotheses used instrument in the form of a
questionnaire motivation to learn class XI IPS MA as respondents.
Based on the analysis of data by using questionnaires motivation to learn
found five children who had a low motivation to learn criteria. Students are
capable career low in the given treatment in the form of behavior counseling.
Instrument is used have value of validity with bigger from r 0,381 and reability
0,962. Based on the results of the analysis capabilities of XI-class career IPS MA
Salafiyah Ketegan. Ha is accepted and HO is rejected. it is evidenced by tcount
44,706 > ttbel 4,604 at significant level ? = 0.05. Based on the results of research
and discussion, it can put forward suggestions as follows: (a) The student is
expected to accept the briefing about way to increase motivation to learn from
counselor, (b) School counselor is expected can give guidance and counseling
services especially individual services use behavior theory with self management
Technique for effort in dealing with students who have who have low motivation
to learn, (c) for study again is expected there will studying futhermoe is related by
behavior theory because still some problems about student behavior need to
explored further.
