Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between parenting patterns with prosocial behavior of elementary school age children. The research method uses a quantitative approach. The number of samples was taken based on purposive sampling technique, namely 50 elementary school age children. Data collection techniques using a scale. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument, normality test, linearity test and hypothesis testing processed with the help of SPSS 25. For windows. Results Based on the analysis of the Rho Spearman correlation test, the correlation coefficient value = 0.275 with a significance value of 0.000 (p <0.05). This shows that there is a significant positive correlation between democratic parenting of parents and prosocial behavior at elementary school age. Keywords: Democratic Parenting, Prosocial Behavior
