Abstract :
This thesis discusses the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers
in overcoming student delinquency in SMP IFRAH Bangkalan Madura. This
study discusses several problems, namely: (1) the role of Guidance and
Counseling (BK) teachers in overcoming delinquency in students at SMPIFRAH
Bangkalan Madura (2) the obstacles of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in
tackling student delinquency at IFRAH Bangkalan Madura Middle School. This
discussion shows the role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers in Overcoming
Student Delinquency at IFRAH Junior High School Bangkalan Madura. In this
research, the writer uses descriptive qualitative research. Where the researchers
tried to obtain and analyze data using qualitative descriptive analysis. In collecting
data, various methods were used, including: (1) Library research, namely data
collection techniques by collecting literature related to this research as the
theoretical basis. (2 Field research, is a way of collecting data by conducting
research directly to the research location that has been determined by: a).
Observation is by observing the research location directly to obtain the necessary
data, b). Interviews were conducted with related parties, especially religious
education teachers, schools, and other parties who were judged to understand the
issues discussed, and c). Documentation, namely opening existing documents at
the research institution and retrieving data relevant to the writing. And the results
of the research that the authors found that the efforts made in overcoming
delinquency in students in conducting guidance at SMP IFRAH Bangkalan
Madura, namely by means of the BK teacher acting as a motivator but also having
to play a role as an educator, so that students always develop a sense of respect for
the BK teacher. In addition, the BK teacher is the person who directs the learning
process gradually from beginning to end. With the design, students will pass the
culmination stage, a stage that allows each student to know their learning
progress. Here the role of a culminator is integrated with the role of an evaluator.
