The Role of Village-Owned Enterprises on Community Welfare in Pucangsimo Village, Bandarkedungmulyo District, Jombang Regency. Chief Advisor Mr. Dr. H. Muchtar, SE.M,Si., Advisory Commission : Anang Rohmad Jatmiko, SE., M.Si. Development is an orientation in activities to advance the nation, including processes, One of which is village development which must be carried out in a planned manner and touch the real needs of the village community. The community is the center of the village development process itself. In this thesis, the researcher examines the role of Des-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes) on the welfare of the community so that the BUMDes program is effective and targeted, which consists of 1). how the role of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in improving the welfare of the community in the village of batetangnga, 2). an Islamic economic review of the activities of village-owned enterprises (BUMDes) in the village of Pucangsimo. This study aims to determine how the role of BUMDes in improving the welfare of the community in terms of the economy. The type of research used in this thesis is descriptive qualitative, the data in this study were obtained from primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique is using qualitative data analysis. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Seeing from the activities of BUMDes it is clear that it helps the Pucangsimo community to further improve their welfare because from the programs that are being run, there is nothing that harms the community but adds or increases the community's income and the income of the Pucangsimo village. 2) BUMDes pucangsimo is already in accordance with the economic review. This is because BUMDes in Pucangsimo Village are very relevant to the principles of Islamic economics where the principles of Islamic economics are: work, compensation, efficiency, professionalism, and adequacy, besides that BUMDes activities also do not take too much interest and the average community does not complain about interest. loan repayment so it can be said that there is no element of Ribah in it.
