Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship of teacher's perceptions of Democratic leadership style of school principals with teacher's work motivation. This study involved 65 teachers consisting of 35 elementary school teachers and 30 kindergarten teachers. To reveal the variable perception of teachers about the Democratic leadership style of school principals with teacher work motivation revealed using a scale, conducted online using google form. Sampling technique using simple random sampling technique. Based on the analysis of Spearman correlation test, then obtained the value of the correlation coefficient rrho = 0.628 with a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05). This shows that there is a significant positive correlation between the Democratic leadership style of school principals with teacher work motivation. So the hypothesis is accepted.
