Abstract :
A Pedestrian path is an area or place for pedestrian activities or other activities,
and can be used as a circulation space for pedestrians that is separate from other
transportation circulations (both motorized and non-motorized). A humane
environment is a urban environment that is friendly to pedestrians, Which has
dimensions and dimensions based on a human scale. The purpose of this study is
to analyze the characteristics, volume and performance of pedestrian paths. The
results of the analysis of pedestrian characteristics show that there are more
female pedestrians that men, For the west sidewalk the flow is 8,111 ped/min/m
with an average speed of 5,81 m/min, for an average speed of space towards north
is 55,4147 m/s and to the south 55,5201 m/s. The density to the north is 10,9218
pedestrians/m² and to the south is 10,4504 pedetrians/m² at each peak hour in
category ?B?. So it is suggested the need for futher management and routine
maintenance as well as affirmation of clear rules regarding circulation in terms of
the use of pedestrian paths.
