Abstract :
This test uses a Honda Astrea 100 cc motorcycle, using a chassis dynamometer / dynotest to determine the power and torque produced by using different types of CDI, namely AC CDI and DC CDI. The results of the study showed that there was an effect on engine performance, so from the results of the power and torque tests for the highest numbers obtained in the use of DC CDI, for the highest numbers obtained in the use of DC CDI, for pertalite fuel got an average value of 5.15 HP at 5000 rpm engine speed, 5.84 HP at 6000 rpm, and 6.18 HP at 7000 rpm. While the results of the torque test obtained an average value of 7.25 Nm at 5000 rpm. For testing using DC CDI with pertamax fuel got an average value of 5.16 HP at 5000 rpm engine speed, 5.86 HP at 6000 rpm, 6.15 HP at 7000 rpm. With the results of the torque test, an average value of 7.24 Nm was obtained at 5000 rpm.
