Abstract :
Intersections are nodes in a transportation network where two or more road segments meet, and it is at these intersections that potential traffic conflicts may occur. This study was conducted at the unsignalized intersection of Tugu Adipura, Nganjuk Regency, using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI) 2023 method. This research aims to determine the volume of the intersection, its performance, and the delay value at the unsignalized intersection of Tugu Adipura, Nganjuk Regency. Data collection for the research was conducted through a survey in the area of the Tugu Adipura intersection, Nganjuk Regency.
The geometric survey of the intersection is conducted to determine the width of the approach, the width of the median, the number of lanes, and the number of lanes in each arm of the intersection. The vehicle volume survey was conducted over 3 days: Monday as a busy day, Wednesday as a normal day, and Sunday as a holiday. For daily data, it was conducted in 3 sessions: the morning session from 07:00 AM to 09:00 AM, the afternoon session from 04:00 PM to 06:00 PM, and the evening session from 07:00 PM to 09:00 PM. The vehicle volume survey was conducted every 15 minutes every 2 hours. The averaged survey data will be used to determine the planned intersection volume in SMP/hour. Then calculate the intersection capacity (C), degree of saturation (DJ), and queue probability (Pa) to determine the performance of the unsignalized intersection at Tugu Adipura, Nganjuk Regency. From the performance analysis, the delay value (T) at the unsignalized intersection of Tugu Adipura, Nganjuk Regency, will also be obtained.
