Abstract :
This study aims to determine the relationship between Self-Confidence and Anxiety Facing the
World of Work. The hypothesis proposed is that there is a negative relationship between SelfConfidence and Anxiety Facing the World of Work The population of this study were MA
Miftahun Najah Karanglo students in grades X and IX. The sample used in this study was 50
students of MA Miftahun Najah with Incidental Sampling Technique. The data collection tools
used are the Self-Confidence Scale and the Anxiety Scale Facing the World of Work. Hypothesis
testing is done with Product Moment Correlation Statistical Analysis. The results of the analysis
found that ry -0.332 with 0.0029 (p < 0.05). This shows that there is a significant negative
relationship between Self-Confidence and Anxiety Facing the World of Work. The negative
direction means that the higher the student's self-confidence, the lower the anxiety of facing the
world of work So, the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.
