Abstract :
The topic of this research is about how to implement the Merdeka Curriculum in the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah environment. This research aims to determine the implementation and supporting factors as well as inhibiting factors in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum of class 4 History of Islamic Culture at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Negeri 1 Jombang. This research is qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive approach located at Madrasah Negeri 1 Jombang. The data sources for this research were obtained from the Headmaster of the Madrasah, Deputy Headmaster of the Madrasah for Curriculum, and the teacher of the history of Islamic Culture class 4 through data collection techniques, interviews, observation and documentation, then the data was analyzed by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that: (1) The implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in the Class 4 History of Islamic Culture at Madrasah Ibtidayah Negeri 1 Jombang has been carried out well, This is based on good learning planning where teachers of the History of Islamic Culture are able to prepare and implement teaching modules that are in accordance with the Merdeka Curriculum. (2) Meanwhile, the supporting factors in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum are learning planning factors, teachers/educating staff, Headmaster of Madrasah and staff as well as parents of students. As well as factors inhibiting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum include interest, talent, motivation of students, facilities and infrastructure as well as students' parents.
