Abstract :
This study aims to find out the influence of professional competence and code of ethics on the performance of BK teacher competency standards. This study uses a quantitative method with the number of samples in as many as twenty-one respondents. The data analysis in this study used validity tests, reliability, classical assumption tests and path analysis tests (multiple linear regression tests). The instruments used in this study are a professional competency questionnaire of 90 statements, a code of ethics of 45 statements, competency standards of 35 statements, and BK teacher performance 57 statements. The results of the partial structural path analysis test 1 (t-test) of BK teacher competence produced a significant value of 0.002 < 0.05, meaning that there was a significant influence of professional competence on the competency standards of BK teachers. The code of ethics produced a significant value of 0.103 > 0.05, meaning that there was no significant influence of the code of ethics on the competency standards of BK teachers. The f test produced a calculated f value of 31.099 > f table 3.20 and the significant probability was much smaller than 0.05, which was 0.000. The R Square value of 0.776 or 77.6% means that the variables of professional competence and code of ethics affect the competency standards of BK teachers, while 22.4% are influenced by other variables that are not studied. The results of the partial test of structure 2 path analysis (t-test) of BK teacher competence produced a significant value of 0,590 > 0,05, meaning that there was no significant influence of professional competence on BK teacher performance. The code of ethics produced a significant value of 0.304 > 0.05, meaning that there was no significant influence of the code of ethics on the performance of BK teachers. The competency standard produced a significant value of 0,000 < 0,05, meaning that there was a significant influence of the competency standard on the performance of BK teachers. The f test produced a calculated f value of 31,099 > f table 3.20 and the significant probability was much smaller than 0,05, which was 0,000. An R Square value of 0,946 or 94,6% means that the variables of professional competence, code of ethics, and competency standards affect the performance of counseling guidance teachers, while 5.4% is influenced by other variables not included in this research. It is intended that this study's findings will be able to the progress of science in the field of guidance and counseling in line with professional competence, code of ethics, competency standards, and performance of BK teachers.
