Abstract :
This study aims to determine the application of the demonstration method in an effort to improve the learning outcomes of the fiqh material on the prayer chapter for students at the Ma'had Tahfidzul Qur'an Assalam Karangwungu Balongpanggang Gresik. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR), this research is carried out collaboratively between teachers and observers. This study includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The types of instruments used to produce or collect data are student learning outcome tests, teacher and student observation guideline sheets.
The results of the data analysis obtained showed an increase in teacher activity in implementing learning using the demonstration method, in cycle I, the percentage obtained reached 75%, then in cycle II it reached 95%. Student activity in cycle I reached 55%, then in cycle II it reached 90%. As for the results of the student learning test in cycle I with an average score of 77.6 Then in cycle II with an average score of 87.2.
The conclusion of this study is that the demonstration method can improve student learning outcomes in the subject of fiqh at the Ma'had Tahfidzul Qur'an Assalam Karangwungu Balongpanggang Gresik.
