Abstract :
ABSTRACT MESKA WOLOHU. 2013. Nim: 321407065. Skripsi: “The influence of story faces strategy on students’ ability in reading comprehension”. (This research conducted at second grade students in SMA Negeri 1 Boliyohuto). English Department, Letter and culture Faculty, Gorontalo State University The objective of study is to find out whether the story faces strategy influence students’ ability in reading comprehension or not. The method used in this research is quasi – experimental by using pre – test and post – test design. The data were collected by using multiple choice forms and it was analyzed by using t – test formula. The result of this research show that the application of story face strategy can influence of students’ ability in reading comprehension. The criteria used to verify the hypothesis is H0 accepted if t_(count ) ? t_list. Beside that the students’ value percentage in pre test is 39, 5% and in post test students’ value percentage is 47, 5%. The result denotes that the story face strategy influence students’ ability in reading comprehension was not significant. Key words: Story Faces Strategy, Reading Comprehension.
