Abstract :
ABSTRAK Zulpianti. 2015. Keterampilan Berfikir Kritis Siswa SMA Kelas XI Terhadap Konsep Termokian Menggunakan Metode Praktikum. Skripsi, Jurusan pendidikan Kimia, Fakultas Matematika dan IPA,Universitas Negeri Gorontalo. Bimbingan Drs. Mardjan Paputungan, M.Si dan Drs. Opir Rumape, M.Si. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berfikir kritis peserta didik pada Konsep Termokimia dengan menggunakan metode praktikum pada kelas XI IPA SMA N 1 TAPA tahun ajaran 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif Kuantitatif dengan maksud mengetahui deskripsi atau gambaran tentang tingkat keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa SMA kelas XI terhadap konsep Termokimia yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan metode praktikum. Adapun desain pada penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuasi eksperimen. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrument test berupa pertanyaan-pertanyaan untuk menggali tingkat keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil, selama 2 minggu tahun ajaran 2015. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu data hasil pretest dan posttest. hasil yang diperoleh selanjutnya di presentasikan untuk memperoleh gambaran, tingkat berfikir kritis siswa. Analisis data dengan menggunakan uji t independen. Dalam penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa terhadap konsep termokimia yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan metode praktikum dan yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan metode ceramah, pada siswa kelas XI di SMA N 1 Tapa. Tingkat penguasaan atau pencapaian siswa yang dibelajarkan dengan menggunakan metode praktikum lebih baik yang mencapai angka 95% untuk indikator pemahaman, 68% untuk indikator aplikasi dan untuk indikator analisis 36%. This study used quantitative descriptive method with the intention of knowing the description or picture of the level of critical thinking skills of students SMA XI against Thermochemical that learned concepts using practical methods. The design in this study using a quasi-experimental design. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of questions to explore the level of students' critical thinking skills. The research was conducted in the semester, during the second week of the school year 2015. Data collection techniques in this research is data of pretest and posttest. the results obtained subsequently be presented to obtain a level of critical thinking of students. Data analysis using independent t test. In this study concluded that There are differences increase students' critical thinking skills that learned thermochemical concepts using practical methods and that learned to use the lecture method, the students of class XI SMA N 1 Tapa. The level of mastery or achievement of students that learned by using better practicum that reached 95% for indicators of understanding, 68% for the indicator to indicator analysis applications and 36%.
