ABSTRACT Mery Susilowaty Kadir. 2016. The Correlation between Family Support and Relapse Incident at Schizophrenia Patients at Regional Public Hospital Tombulilato District of Bone Bolango. Skripsi. Faculty of Health and Sports Study Program of Nursing State University of Gorontalo. Principal Supervisor is dr. Zuhriana K. Yusuf, M.Kes and Co-Supervisor is Andi Mursyidah S.Kep,Ns M.Kes. Schizophrenia topic has become a concern in Indonesia, currently estimated at about 26 million people worldwide suffered from schizophrenia. Family support is a vital element in preventing relapse at schizophrenia patients. This research aims at observing the correlation of family support and relapse incident at schizophrenia patients at Regional Public Hospital Tombulilato. Quantitative research method is applied with cross sectional approach. The population of this research is 122 respondents. Sample used is the family of schizophrenia patients amount to 30 respondents by using purposive sampling technique. Data are collected through questionnaire and analyzed by Chi Square Test. Research result obtained that family support is 17 respondents (56,7%) and less is 13 respondents (43,3%) and relapse incident is 13 respondents (43,3%) and not relapse is 17 respondents (56, 7%).
